Evening Walk - Lambrigg Fell

Meeting up near Roan Edge Quarry on a beautiful evening, the numbers were swelled by daughters and families of Mike Walford, but also by new people. Krysia led out across Lambrigg Fell (a Marilyn for peak baggers) and down to Haygarth. Then along the minor road to Kiln Head, where a right turn was taken before returning back over Lambrigg Fell. A lovely walk on a beautiful evening with great views back to the Howgills. Thanks Krysia for an excellent evening walk.

A walk from Wrynose Pass to Red Tarn, Crinkle Crags, and Little Stand produced some lovely photo opportunities.
Below is a reflection in Red Tarn of Great Knott, one of the crinkles, and Bowfell.
Below that is the dramatic view across Upper Eskdale to the Scafell range from Adam-a-Cove.
Aren't we lucky to live in this area!
